The Motorola Moto 360 SmartWatch like the regular Moto 360, the Sport is packing 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. There’s also an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, GPS, a gyroscope, and a heart rate sensor.The case measures 1.8 inches across and 0.45 inches thick, and weighs a fairly light 1.9 ounces. Inside the silver bezel is an always-on, 1.37-inch, 360-by-325-pixel (which works out to 263 pixels per inch) LCD. The display is readable in any lighting situation, even when out running in the sun, but it has a “flat-tire” effect that cuts the screen off in a horizontal line at the bottom. That’s where the adaptive light sensor is located.You can adjust the brightness of the display to extend battery life, but with the ambient light sensor on, You had to recharge the watch daily.The watch uses Android Wear, so you’re stuck swiping through vertical lists to get to even basic actions like powering down.It lets you download apps, play games, and read and respond to text messages or emails through your phone.

PROS:
- The Moto 360 Sport has GPS for tracking pace and distance when running, and a display that is easy to read in different environments.
- This is my first smart watch and I am thoroughly excited about it. I purchased it today as it was the first day available. I haven’t been able to test a lot of functions, but will update this as I put this watch to the test. This and the Sony Smartwatch 3 are the only android smartwatches with standalone GPS and that is a big selling point for me. The wrist strap is comfortable and a silicone material, it is not interchangeable so buy the color you want and not regret! The charging cradle has a micro usb port in the back so you can easily plug in the cradle when not charging your phone.The watch feels solid and durable
CONS:
- Battery life is dreadful; running features are limited; expensive compared to similar GPS watches; Android Wear still feels like a work in progress.
- First impressions were pretty good. Got it, charged it, set it up with my phone, selected a watch face — good so far. Within 4 hours, the temperature stopped displaying. The error message instructed me to check that my phone location services were on. They were. The support website says to try power cycling the watch first then try resetting to factory settings, then re-install the android wear software on the phone. Tried them all at least 3 times without fixing anything. It would work for a short time but always stop. So, I gave up on the temperature displaying watch face. Then right after the return period was up, the vibration stopped working for alarms and for notifications. Then in a couple more days notifications just stopped going through.
